Training Course - starting soon...
We are currently taking bookings for our forthcoming GNAS/Archery UK training couse. The course begins on 4th June and continues every Thursday through to the end of the month. Sessions are from 7pm - 9pm at Shenfield High School, Brentwood. The course will cost £40 per person and this includes full training and use of all the standard equipment required to get you started. This is a great way to get started with Archery, and provides a great start to the summer evenings. Welcome to the website of Burntwood Archers, in Essex.
The club has been established since 1991 and has a diverse membership ranging from 8 years old to 85! The club offers excellent facilities for target archers. Whether you wish to shoot at 20 yards or 100 yards or any distance in between we have the facilities.
 Success for Seniors and Juniors
Continued success for Burntwood Archers in February '08. It was Team Gold again at Abbey Bowmen's Portsmouth competition making the second year in succession. Congratulations to team members Peter Walker 567, Terry Baker 558, Jason Robertson 557 and junior member Joe Benorthan 467. Laurie Clarke won the Junior Gents Longbow competition with a score of 271. Individual senior Gents medals also went to Peter (Gold), Terry (Silver) and Jason (Bronze) making a clean sweep for the gents competition. All in all, an excellent day for Burntwood Archers.
